Welcome to Elaine's on Franklin's website. As the chef and proprietor of Elaine's, I am happy to share information about our history, menus, wine list, special events, media and management team. I hope it will entice you to include us in your travel itinerary whenever you are in our area and to recommend us to your friends when they are coming our way

Elaine's opened in November of 1999 on West Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, home of the University of North Carolina. Since that time, we have been gratified by the response from around the country and also overseas to our regional American cuisine
